If you make any sound at all, the 'grandma' will chase you at full speed. Keep in mind that you only have five days to escape from the house, and you'll quickly realize you need all five. You can move your character around the house using the virtual directional pad located on the left side of the screen, and interact with almost anything: open boxes and drawers, hide under beds, pick up keys, deactivate traps, etc.
